For the CPA who has limited time or can’t get away from the office, online CPE is a great alternative to the traditional CPE seminar.
Just like live seminars, live CPE webcasts last for scheduled periods of time. But unlike live seminars, live CPE webcasts are broadcast through a web page that you access with a computer in the comfort of your own home or office.
ACPEN
The WICPA along with the Accounting Continuing Professional Education Network (ACPEN), operated by Business Professionals Network, offers CPE options to members. These programs provide two to 8-hour CPE credit hours (100 to 400 minutes) in the form of live, interactive, Internet webcasts, as well as rebroadcast two-hour segments of the original 8-hour webcasts.
