High School Educators

Over the years, the WICPA has developed relationships with high school teachers across Wisconsin.

Each fall, the WICPA holds a High School Educators Symposium, a one day conference for business teachers. Teachers network with their peers, share curriculum ideas and gain insight from CPAs, professors and college students about the accounting career.

The WICPA also hosts an exhibit booth and a session at the Wisconsin Business Education Association conference every September.

High school teachers can sign up to receive a monthly e-news letter, Accounting for the Future, which provides news items and current information about the accounting field.

The WICPA coordinates a high school speaking program with CPAs visiting classes to talk about the accounting career and/or financial literacy. To request a speaker for your class, contact Mary Murray at mary@wicpa.org.
