WICPA Mission Statement
The Wisconsin Institute of CPAs is a professional association which strives to serve its members, assure the public, and maintain the integrity of the accounting profession through the provision of continuing education, peer review and community service opportunities; involvement in the legislative process; and communication with the public through the print and broadcast media.
Shape the future: Get involved and join a WICPA committee or task force
Meaningful member involvement is a top priority at the WICPA. We are looking for future-oriented people who want to be part of moving the CPA profession forward. We invite you to join a WICPA committee and/or task force and make a difference.
Member committees include: Accounting Careers, Ethics, Federal Taxation, Peer Review, Public Policy, Wisconsin Taxation, and Young Professionals.
Member conference planning task forces include: Accounting and Auditing and Governmental Financial Management, CPAs in Industry fall and spring, Financial Institutions, Health Care, School District Audit, Not-for-Profit and Annual Tax Conference.
If you would like to join a committee or task force, please refer to a specific committee page to learn more about their members, missions and activities. You may wish to contact a committee chair (email links are on our Web site) and ask about a specific committee.
When you have identified the committee on which you would like to serve or are interested in an area and would like to start a new committee or task force or expand an existing one, contact Jessica Barillari or at 262-785-0445 ext. 3025. Also, watch for opportunities to get involved with committees and task forces that are being formed to provide new WICPA benefits.
