Joel Hansen, CPA receives WICPA Public Service Award

    Joel Hansen, CPA, audit manager at Schenck SC in Green Bay, has received the 2010-2011 WICPA Public Service Award. The Public Service Award is given to a WICPA member who has distinguished himself or herself in public service activities at the local, regional and state levels.

Hansen is involved in the following organizations:
• President, University of Wisconsin–Green Bay Alumni Association
• Chair, Green Bay Chamber of Commerce Small Business Awards Luncheon and Showcase
• Member, United Way Basic Needs and Self-sufficiency Impact Council 

    “Considering the needs that exist within every community and the spirited individuals who address those needs; being recognized by the WICPA for public service in my community, the community that I’m raising my daughter in is truly appreciated,” said Hansen.

    He resides in De Pere.
