Green Bay resident named president of WICPA Board of Directors William G. Heinrich, CPA, shareholder and director of quality control with Schenck Business Solutions in Green Bay, has been named president of the 2010-2011 Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) Board of Directors. Heinrich has been an active WICPA member since 1982. He has been a board member in the past and is also a member of the AICPA. Heinrich has served on the Peer Review Committee. He volunteers with several community organizations including the Allouez Optimist Club and the Greater Green Bay YMCA. He attended Marquette University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 1979. He resides in Green Bay.
The WICPA is the premier professional organization for Wisconsin CPAs, with more than 8,000 members working in public accounting, industry, government and education. Like other professionals, certified public accountants are required to obtain additional education, take a rigorous exam and become certified.
