Menomonee Falls resident named to WICPA Board of Directors Steven R. Volz, CPA, partner with Reilly, Penner & Benton, LLP in Milwaukee, has been named vice president with the 2010-2011 Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) Board of Directors. Volz joined the WICPA 32 years ago and has served on various committees and task forces including Peer Review and the Ethics Committee. His goals include improving communication of the WICPA member benefits, increasing membership as well as working with state legislators to improve their understanding of what we do and how it benefits the citizens of Wisconsin. Volz resides in Menomonee Falls.
The WICPA is the premier professional organization for Wisconsin CPAs, with more than 8,000 members working in public accounting, industry, government and education. Like other professionals, certified public accountants are required to obtain additional education, take a rigorous exam and become certified.
