Menomonee Falls resident named to WICPA Board of Directors Sherry L. Watson, CPA, vice president and trust tax manager at M&I Wealth Management in Milwaukee, has been named vice president with the 2010-2011 Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) Board of Directors. Watson joined the WICPA 20 years ago and has served on various committees and task forces including the Federal Taxation Committee and the Tax Conference Planning Task Force. One of her goals as member of the Board of Directors is to advocate for WICPA members and the accounting profession by enhancing CPA relationships across industries. Watson resides in Menomonee Falls.
The WICPA is the premier professional organization for Wisconsin CPAs, with more than 8,000 members working in public accounting, industry, government and education. Like other professionals, certified public accountants are required to obtain additional education, take a rigorous exam and become certified.
