Greta C. Kjome, CPA receives WICPA Spirit Award

    Greta C. Kjome, CPA, accounting staff with Brettingen, Smits, Novak & Bastle S.C. in Antigo, is the recipient of the WICPA Spirit Award. 
    The Spirit Award recognizes total participation in committee, task force, and/or discussion group work.  It reflects the recipient’s ability to initiate new ideas and/or motivate the membership.
     Kjome’s participation on both the Young Professional Committee and Public Policy Committee has been inspirational. Kjome has a natural ability to rejuvenate and energize committee participant involvement.
    “When I first became involved with the Young Professional Committee, I was excited for the opportunity to breakdown the accountant stereotypes and help develop and implement programming to showcase the true accountant personalities,” said Kjome. “What I really find rewarding about being involved with the WICPA is the ability to maintain my involvement and professional connections since my move from Milwaukee to Antigo.”

The WICPA is the premier professional organization for Wisconsin CPAs, with more than 8,000 members working in public accounting, industry, government and education.
