Wauwatosa resident named to WICPA Board of Directors Nicholas S. Lascari, CPA, partner with Balistreri, Jezo & Co. LLP, has been named president of the 2011-2012 Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) Board of Directors. Lascari joined the WICPA almost 40 years ago and has served in various capacities. He has been a member of the WICPA’s Public Policy Committee, Federal Taxation Committee, Wisconsin Taxation Committee, Annual Tax Conference Committee and the Key Person Program. His goals include increasing membership through young professionals and enhancing the image and reach of the WICPA through solid member programs and legislative involvement. Lascari resides in Wauwatosa.
The WICPA is the premier professional organization for Wisconsin CPAs, with more than 8,000 members working in public accounting, industry, government and education. Like other professionals, certified public accountants are required to obtain additional education, take a rigorous exam and become certified.
