WICPA names Barb Gamez to the position of director of membership and marketing

    Brookfield, Wis. – The Wisconsin Institute of CPAs (WICPA) welcomes Barb Gamez, M.S. as its new director of membership and marketing.

    In this newly created position, Gamez is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing membership recruitment and retention initiatives. She is also responsible for marketing strategies including member discount programs, continuing professional education, CPAC/LIF, and WICPA Educational Foundation, Inc. fundraising efforts and special events.

    “We welcome Barb’s experience and enthusiasm to help strengthen the WICPA’s relationship with its members, expand its membership and market its programs to its members and the general public,” said Dennis F. Tomorsky, CPA, J.D. and CEO of the WICPA.

Gamez previously worked as director of marketing at the National Funeral Directors Association in Brookfield. She resides in Greendale.
