Green Bay resident named to WICPA Board of Directors Matthew I. Raunio, CPA, assistant professor of business and economics with the University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan in Sheboygan, Wis., has been named vice president to the 2011-2012 Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) Board of Directors. Raunio has been a member of the WICPA since 1980 and has served on the WICPA Accountancy Regulation in Wisconsin and Finance committees. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and has served on the AICPA Investments committee. Raunio resides in Green Bay.
The WICPA is the premier professional organization for Wisconsin CPAs, with more than 8,000 members working in public accounting, industry, government and education. Like other professionals, certified public accountants are required to obtain additional education, take a rigorous exam and become certified.
