GREAT LAKES HEMOPHILIA FOUNDATION is looking for a treasurer to serve on its Board. The Board meets six times per year. Friedens Community Ministries, a Milwaukee based 501(c)(3) emergency food pantry, is seeking a firm to provide low-cost or pro-bono audit services. The pantry provides emergency food to those individuals and families that are working to apply for food stamps, but have been denied (generally due to inadequate paperwork). Milwaukee County refers these people to Friedens, who provides them with food for three days of meals; the pantry served over 12,000 households in 2006. Cash revenue averages $100,000 annually and we receive donated food whose estimated value averages $100-$200,000/year.  For more information, please contact Kathy Adam, Finance Chairperson, at 414-761-0257 or adamkm@wi.rr.com.

Wisconsin Aviation Academy provides unmatched opportunities for underrepresented youth to learn planning, discipline, and communication skills while learning to fly for free. The Friends of Wehr Nature Center, Inc. supports the mission of the Wehr Nature Center and Nature in the Parks located in Whitnall Park in Franklin. The Wehr Nature Center is part of the Milwaukee County Parks system. Friends of Wehr provides the funding for exhibit development, internships, program supplies, land management supplies and educational enhancements. These activities are financed through donations, special events and grants. The Friends of Wehr Nature Center is in need of a dedicated treasurer preferably with knowledge of non-profit accounting. The treasurer is responsible for processing receipts for deposits, cash disbursements and all financial reporting requirements.
