Friedens Community Ministries, a Milwaukee based 501(c)(3) emergency food pantry, is seeking a firm to provide low-cost or pro-bono audit services. The pantry provides emergency food to those individuals and families that are working to apply for food stamps, but have been denied (generally due to inadequate paperwork). Milwaukee County refers these people to Friedens, who provides them with food for three days of meals; the pantry served over 12,000 households in 2006. Cash revenue averages $100,000 annually and we receive donated food whose estimated value averages $100-$200,000/year.  For more information, please contact Kathy Adam, Finance Chairperson, at 414-761-0257 or adamkm@wi.rr.com.
