WICPA’s High School Educator Symposium are eligible to apply for a
grant from the WICPA Educational Foundation, Inc. If you attended
Symposium, view the
online application. The deadline is Dec. 15.

NBA star rebounds from financial disaster
thanks to CPAs
With the opening of the 2008 NBA
season, Samuel Dalembert of the Philadelphia 76ers is on top of his
game. The 6-foot-11-inch starting center reached career highs last
season, averaging 10.7 points and 8.9 rebounds in 82 games. Dalembert
is also rebounding from an unsatisfactory financial situation that
occurred two years ago, having a net worth in the millions thanks to
his teamwork with a trusted network of financial advisors.
