Applications available for AICPA Fellowships for Minority Doctoral Students
The fellowships are awarded by the AICPA's Minority Initiatives Committee. The primary objective is to make it possible for more minorities to enter or move ahead in the accounting profession. Eligibility requirements, applications and frequently asked questions are available on the AICPA's Web site, http://www.aicpa.org/members/div/career/mini/fmds.htm


Scholarships for college students

The WICPA Educational Foundation provides scholarships for academic work leading toward an accounting degree. The recipients must be Wisconsin residents attending a Wisconsin college or university with an Accounting program that qualifies the applicant to sit for the CPA exam. In fiscal year 2006/2007, up to eight $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to those pursuing a master’s degree and up to three $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to those pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting.
