Current Issues in Business Ethics
In this engaging session, you’ll get an important update when it comes to business ethics issues, with a focus on learning from current real-world ethical violations. The session will discuss attitudes related to ethics and help you better understand the laws and rules CPAs must follow and the consequences of not doing so. This course qualifies for 1.8 ethics credits toward fulfilling the ethics CPE requirement for CPA license renewal in Wisconsin.

Fraud & Risk Management in Educational Institutions
This presentation will cover general fraud information using actual fraud examples in educational institutions, as well as provide risk management and cybersecurity tips.

GASB Update
The GASB has been busy! This session will include an overview of GASB standards becoming effective in fiscal years 2021, 2022 and beyond. The focus of the session will be on the new standards and the impact they will have on school district financial statements.

OPEB Pension Basics
GASB Statement No. 75 has been around for a couple of rounds of implementation by school districts and municipalities, but new staff may need some additional guidance related to this standard. This session will discuss how to obtain the materials from ETF online and how to handle the implementation in the financial statements, including the footnotes.
