High School Speaking Program

Opportunity to influence the pipeline by speaking to a high school accounting class

It is now more important than ever to recognize the importance of accounting professionals to our communities and businesses and support outreach efforts for future accountants and CPAs.

With the challenges our profession continues to face, we not only need to advocate, but also do everything we can to help it grow.

How you can help... It's as easy as 1-2-3

As part of this initiative, we're asking members to give back to the profession and volunteer some of your time to go into one or more high school classrooms to talk about the career opportunities available in accounting.

The goal is to help Wisconsin high school students better understand the potential a career in accounting can provide them.

We've made it very easy for you to participate! All you need to do is:

  1. Reach out to your own contact or send/email our pre-written letter to one or more high schools you're interested in speaking to a class at
  2. Schedule a day and time with the school(s)/educator(s) to speak to a class
  3. Let us know by completing the High School Speaking Volunteer Form (below)

That's it! Once we receive your form, we'll reach out and provide everything you need, including a presentation, resources and fun gifts for students.

We sincerely hope you'll join us in this initiative because you'll not only contribute to the growth and strength of our profession, but also influence the leaders of tomorrow.

Note: Please complete this form after you have scheduled a presentation date with a school/educator. If you have scheduled more than one presentation, we ask that you complete a form for each presentation.
