New survey on CPA pipeline challenges

October 7, 2020

To best serve accounting and finance professionals, the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) is conducting a research study focusing on their decision to pursue, or not pursue, the CPA credential.

Insights from both students and professionals will help inform the ICPAS about current perceptions, the decision-making process regarding pursuing or not pursuing the credential, and the value it holds.

The survey results will provide state CPA societies and the CPA profession as a whole with a deeper understanding of the perceptions and value drivers that separate those who decide to pursue the credential from those who do not.

The ICPAS encourages accounting and finance students and professionals under the age of 35, whether or not they've decided to become a CPA, to complete the survey by Oct. 15. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete.
