Starting Dec. 13, the IRS will mask sensitive data on business tax transcripts to protect business taxpayers from identity theft.
The announcement provides some time for stakeholders to make any needed adjustments. The IRS informed some tax professionals of this change earlier during the summer Nationwide Tax Forums.
