China's U.S. trade surplus climbs

Chinese exports to the U.S. rose 14.5 percent in September compared with a year ago, which was much higher than expected. The exports contributed to a record trade surplus of $32 billion. Economists attribute the surge to companies rushing out orders ahead of tariffs imposed by the U.S., but they say it can’t last.
