AICPA raises PPP concerns with SBA

The AICPA sent a letter Wednesday, Feb. 3, urging the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to address problems small businesses face when trying to apply for Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) forgivable loans.

The letter refers to “a number of very significant operational changes to the PPP by the SBA which are not fully understood,” including concerns about the SBA’s E-Tran system, caps to PPP loan amount caps and a need for broader communication. Learn more.
