In an April 15 memorandum, the IRS announced it is extending e-signature authorization for many of its forms until Dec. 3.
The extension minimizes the need for in-person contact between tax professionals, their clients and the IRS during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the agency said.
The list of forms that can be e-signed for the next six months includes Forms 11-C, 1066, 637, 706 and 709. See the complete list.
