The IRS has begun began its "Dirty Dozen" list for 2021 with a warning for taxpayers, tax professionals and financial institutions to be on the lookout for 12 schemes and scams.
The IRS separates the list into four categories: pandemic-related scams, personal information cons, ruses focusing on unsuspecting victims and schemes that persuade taxpayers into unscrupulous actions. The IRS will expound upon each category throughout the week.
