Microsoft is urging Window 10’s one billion users to update their software immediately due to a new cyberthreat.
The threat, called “PrintNightmare,” is a critical flaw in the Windows Print Spooler service that hackers can exploit to access system-level privileges.
To correct this flaw, Microsoft is alerting users to upgrade their software with a series of essential fixes. Microsoft has gone so far as to provide fixes for eight versions of Windows 10 as well as Windows 8.1 and 7.
