A new grant program from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. (WEDC) seeks to help small businesses move into vacant commercial space across the state.
The Wisconsin Tomorrow — Main Street Bounceback Grant program will give eligible businesses owners grants for $10,000 to invest in empty commercial properties.
Earlier this year, Gov. Tony Evers announced the state would dedicate $50 million of Wisconsin’s federal relief funds toward helping small business owners open physical locations and helping communities fill vacant storefronts.
To be eligible, businesses or nonprofits must move into a vacant commercial space in the state, while not closing another Wisconsin location to make the move. For more information and to apply, click here.
