AICPA calls for more feedback on future CPA Exam content

August 4, 2021

The AICPA has released a survey seeking feedback on the preliminary content proposed for the redesigned CPA Exam.

The proposed exam contains three sections, plus material that assesses candidates’ knowledge in one of three disciplines they choose under the new CPA Evolution licensure model.

Once finalized, exam candidates must choose one of three disciplines: business analysis and reporting, information systems and controls, or tax compliance and planning.

The AICPA aims to have a final blueprint of the exam at the beginning of 2023 with an anticipated launch date in January 2024.

The AICPA will collect feedback from the current survey through Sept. 7.
