IRS updates guidance on reporting paid family, sick leave

Treasury and the IRS have updated their guidance to employers about reporting paid sick and family leave taken in 2021.

Under the guidance of Notice 2021-53, employers must report these wages on Form W-2 or in a separate statement. The guidance provides employers with model language to use.
