IRS explains expanded tax benefits for charitable giving in 2021

The IRS recently explained how expanded tax benefits can help both individuals and businesses give to charity before the end of the year.

The Taxpayer Certainty and Disaster Tax Relief Act of 2020 provides several provisions to help individuals and businesses give to charity. The act generally extends through the end of 2021 certain temporary tax changes. See them here.

The IRS also reminds individuals and businesses that special recordkeeping rules apply to any claim for a charitable contribution deduction.
