Even as ransomware attacks rose 62% between 2019 and 2020, company investments in cybersecurity stayed flat during the COVID-19 pandemic, a recent study finds.
The survey of IT specialists, executives and senior leaders found average spending on cybersecurity during the pandemic rose less than 1%. And yet, 60% of respondents reported a major cybersecurity incident in the past three years.
