The IRS has launched a new Spanish-language version of the Child Tax Credit (CTC) portal and reminded families that Nov. 29 is the last day to opt out of payments.
The last monthly CTC payment for 2021, scheduled for Dec. 15, will reflect changes made in the online portal by 10:59 p.m. CST on Nov. 29.
Under the American Rescue Plan Act, most eligible families began receiving monthly CTC payments in July unless they opted out of the program. Clients who want to make changes to their payments can do so by accessing the CTC portal.
