Applications now open for diverse business grants in Wisconsin

The Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) is now accepting applications for two grant programs totaling $75 million to support diverse businesses and communities disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The $37.5 million Diverse Business Assistance Grant program will provide support to ethnic and diverse chambers of commerce and other collaboratives that provide technical assistance and services to businesses owned by members of communities disproportionately affected by the pandemic.

The Diverse Business Investment Grant program will provide an additional $37.5 million to community development financial institutions to support small businesses in those communities as well.

The DOA will accept grant applications for these two programs through Jan. 14, 2022. Businesses can also receive updates on other recovery-related grant opportunities by signing up for the Badger Bounceback update list.
