IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig will report on the current filing season to the House Ways and Means Committee’s Oversight Subcommittee at 9 a.m. CDT on Thursday, March 17.
The Oversight Subcommittee previously heard from the Taxpayer Advocate Service about challenges facing taxpayers this season, including delays in processing returns and correspondence with the IRS. The AICPA echoed those concerns last week.
