Accounting professionals from across the world participated in the survey, providing a better look into firm operations and upcoming priorities.
While many firms have already added advisory services, others are still struggling to create a business model that likely looks very different from their current one.
Widespread staffing issues also hinder this expansion of services, the report says. Because of the talent shortage, more firms are starting to offer additional benefits to potential employees. See the survey results.
