The SEC has released a draft of its five-year strategic plan, which aims to protect citizens, capital markets and its workforce.
The plan features three goals: protect against fraud, develop a regulatory framework and support a diverse workforce.
The plan states that financial activities, both big and small, should be subject to enforcement for misconduct. The SEC will accept public comment on the plan for the next 30 days. Learn more.
