Emails are a vital communication tool at work for many office professionals. However, how professionals end an email differs in style, tone and formality. What’s the most appropriate email closing line for CPAs?

Accountants may want to consider how their emails — including the closings — reflect on their and their firms’ professionalism while fostering the nature of the relationship with the email recipient.

When dealing with government officials, one CPA and CEO says he uses the formal “sincerely” or “respectfully” closing lines to end his emails. For clients, however, “best regards,” “thank you” and “many thanks” can be the better approach. See more tips.
