Sending emails in the office is a vital part of any job, but could your seemingly innocent email habits annoy those around you?

A new survey from email marketing firm EmailTooltester reveals there’s a host of things you may be doing in your emails that may rub people the wrong way.

According to the survey, workers are most annoyed by misspelled names and the use of emojis in emails. Other annoyances include pet names, memes and overused exclamation points.

The report surveyed 1,043 American workers aged 18 and older who worked in an office environment for the past 12 months. Surprisingly, the rankings varied among different age groups. See the results.
