The WICPA is pleased to announce that Gov. Tony Evers and the state of Wisconsin have designated November 2025 as Accounting Careers Month in Wisconsin.
The Accounting Careers Month proclamation is a chance to celebrate the important role CPAs play in ensuring the fiscal health and well-being of people, businesses and institutions across Wisconsin.
From providing accounting and auditing services to litigation and forensic accounting, “CPAs are essential to the vitality and prosperity of the state,” Evers said in the proclamation.
“As the demand for skilled CPAs continues to grow, the state of Wisconsin recognizes the importance of encouraging the state’s youth and young adults to pursue careers in accounting, which offer diverse opportunities for professional growth and development,” Evers added.
To celebrate Accounting Careers Month, the WICPA is seeking volunteers to visit high school classrooms throughout November to inspire students and showcase the countless opportunities in the profession.
