Congress could change HSA rules

Several bills in Congress could modify the federal tax code to allow the use of pretax health savings accounts (HSAs) to pay for the noninsurance payment model of direct primary care (DPCs). All three bills would expand what qualifies as a valid expense; two would also increase the allowed contribution amount and another would also remove the requirement that participants be enrolled in a high-deductible health insurance plan.
