Vacation time is supposed to give you a break from work, but most Americans have trouble letting go. A 2017 Glassdoor study found that two out of three Americans continue to work while on vacation. And one recent staffing firm study found that more than half of the employers expect team members to reply to messages while they’re on PTO.
If you’re going to work while on vacation, follow these guidelines to keep from tipping the work-life balance scales too far in one direction.
