An online tool developed by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) allows users to compare a range of business climate data for Wisconsin to that of other states. The WEDC’s business cost comparison tool helps business leaders and economic development professionals make the best decisions about starting and growing a business in Wisconsin.
The tool contains data for all 50 states on nine business climate metrics, including corporate income tax, personal income tax, property tax and apportionment. The data is collected from numerous sources, such as the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Census Bureau.
The WEDC’s business cost comparison tool is updated twice a year, in April and October. Access the tool here.
