The Badger Institute and the national Tax Foundation believe tax reform should be a higher priority for Wisconsin lawmakers.
Over the course of last year, a team of economists and tax experts at the Tax Foundation joined the Badger Institute to investigate Wisconsin’s tax system. They met with over 100 stakeholders, including small business owners, local government officials, trade associations and more.
The report, “Wisconsin Tax Options,” reviews the history of the fiscal system, previous tax reform studies and economic trends. The report’s goal is to start a conversation about true tax reform. Read the free digital issue here.
