Calling vs. emailing clients, colleagues

When reaching out to a colleague or client, are you using the right medium? Do you prefer to call or send an email? Your decision could mean more than you think. Being thoughtful about how you connect with clients and colleagues can go a long way.

If you’re looking to build a relationship with a client, for example, a phone call is best. Speaking directly to your client on the phone allows you to make sure they understand their financial situation and how you’re working to improve it.
