Only certain entities are eligible for a 12-month extension of the single audit submission deadline, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) stated in a recent memo.
The OMB is also currently working on a broader deadline extension that will provide relief to certain entities not covered by the memo that have operations adversely impacted by COVID-19.
A new alert from the Governmental Audit Quality Center seeks to clarify the potential extension.
