The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) has proposed guidance for the state’s tax return due dates and payments.
The DOR submitted the proposed guidance on Wednesday, March 25, to the Legislative Reference Bureau for publication in the Administrative Register for public comment.
The guidance document provides information about the effect of IRS Notice 2020-18, which was issued as a result of the COVID–19 pandemic.
The document includes a chart that provides the updated 2019 Wisconsin tax return due dates set out in the notice.
