The state of Wisconsin has received a major disaster declaration as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Gov. Tony Evers announced Saturday, April 4.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) granted the state’s request for public assistance to all Wisconsin counties, to help provide reimbursement for emergency protective measures taken by state and local governments in their response to the coronavirus outbreak.
