Clients in the pork industry can now help provide meat products to those affected by the coronavirus-related food insecurity in Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Pork Association (WPA) and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection have joined forces to promote a “Passion for Pork.”
The Passion for Pork program connects Wisconsin pork producers to local meat processors, consumers and the growing number of people experiencing food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Wisconsin pig farmers and meat processors interested in participating in the program can email the WPA.
