The state of Wisconsin received more than $4 billion in economic impact payments (EIP) in the first four weeks of the coronavirus relief program, according to IRS data.
According to the latest state-by-state figures, Wisconsin has received 2,307,675 EIPs for a total of nearly $4.03 billion in relief.
As of May 8, the IRS issued 130 million payments – worth more than $200 billion – to taxpayers across the U.S.
