WEDC shares COVID-19 impact report

A new report by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. (WEDC), submitted to state lawmakers on June 30, outlines a plan to help the state recover from the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Wisconsin Tomorrow – An Economy for All identifies three priorities for the state’s economy: Get everyone back to work, fix broadband across the state, and support innovation to help businesses adapt and thrive.

WEDC recommendations include incentivizing businesses to train new employees, expanding access to quality broadband and piloting innovative ideas for supporting entrepreneurs. Read the full report here.
