Managers report rise in productivity

July 6, 2020

A majority of workers and managers say productivity has risen or stayed the same since the transition to remote work due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a new CPA Practice Advisor survey.

The survey, based on input from 900 U.S. workers and managers in small and mid-sized businesses, found that 63% of respondents agreed that productivity has stayed the same or increased since transitioning to remote work.

Most (83%) of small business owners and HR managers in the survey said they provided equipment to their staff for remote work, but only 56% of employees reported receiving office equipment. See more survey results.
