The GASB is seeking participants for a field test of the standards it proposed in the Preliminary Views, Revenue and Expense Recognition, in June 2020.
The GASB would like to gather feedback from preparers of government financial statements on potential implementation difficulties, the perceived costs associated with the initial and ongoing implementation of the proposed standards and whether any of them are unclear.
