Audit Services RFP – Workforce Connections, Inc. (Nonprofit, WI)

Workforce Connections, Inc. (WCI), a Wisconsin-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is requesting proposals from qualified Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firms to provide independent audit services.

The engagement will begin with the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, with the option to renew annually for up to four additional years based on performance and mutual agreement.

WCI operates workforce development and family support programs across Western Wisconsin and is funded through a combination of federal, state, and local sources. The organization currently has an annual budget of approximately $3 million and 23 staff, with anticipated growth to approximately $6 million and 50 staff in future years.

Scope of Services Includes:

• Annual financial statement audit (GAAP/GAAS)
• Federal Single Audit (as applicable under Uniform Guidance, 2 CFR Part 200)
• Preparation of IRS Form 990 and related filings
• Management letter with recommendations
• Ongoing consultation on accounting, reporting, and compliance matters

Key Dates:

• RFP Release: April 27, 2026
• Questions Due: May 8, 2026
• Proposals Due: May 29, 2026 (4:30 p.m.)
• Anticipated Selection: Early June 2026
